Caring for your windows after tint installation

At the end of installation, ask for instructions for the film that was used. Drying times and care are not identical for every product and condition.

Ask when you can roll the windows down

Confirm with the installer how long to wait before moving the windows. Do not treat a generic number from the internet as instructions for your film. The product and drying conditions matter.

If someone else uses the vehicle, tell them the instructions so they do not lower the windows out of habit.

Do not manipulate the film while it dries

If you notice moisture or an appearance that concerns you, take a photo and contact the installer. Do not puncture, press or try to peel the film. A well-lit photo helps clarify what you are seeing and whether a follow-up is appropriate.

Clean according to the product instructions

Ask which cleaner and cloth are suitable for the installed film and when to begin cleaning. Avoid scraping the edges or using tools that could scratch the surface. Keep the product information and instructions with your quote.

How to request a follow-up

Describe when the film was installed, which window is affected and when you noticed the change. Include a close-up and a photo of the whole window. Confirm your service’s warranty terms; a general guide does not replace those terms or an inspection.
